River Drift Snorkeling – No Crocodiles
The tour is of 3 hour duration, and commences with a pick up from your accommodation. After a short 20 minute drive you will arrive in the jungle close to Mossman Gorge which is part of the Daintree Rainforest. With your experienced local and very knowledgeable guide on our Drift Snorkeling Tour, you will then drift downstream. Of course the conditions can change depending on the time of year. In our tropical winter known as the “Dry”, the pace of the River Drift Snorkeling Tour will be quite slow and leisurely. During the hot summer months however, the conditions can be quite different… fast and furious! It really all depends on the amount of rain we have had.

Found in this area are over a third of the total species of freshwater fish of Australia. Small turtles, yabbies, and Archerfish can also be seen on a river drift snorkeling tour.
See the amazing birdlife whilst on this tour. Obviously you can only see the birds when you take a rest stop on your journey downstream! There are plenty of kingfishers around, along with Silver Eyes and other rainforest birds.
